Welcome to the Erasmus+ Project Adapting Vocational Education to SME’s and Craftsmen - AVED. AVED is an exciting collaboration between Connect Abruzzo – Italy , Inercia Digital – Spain and the National Guild of Master Craftsmen -NGMC in Ireland. Based in Dublin and serving all of Ireland NGMC is the largest professional organisation providing reassurance to customers that the contractors they engage with will provide a quality service. NGMC is the Project Lead on this exciting initiative which is designed to digitally upskill SME’s and Craftsmen and introduce them to Micro-credential Units of Learning.

    • What is a microcredential? A micro-credential is a small, focused certification that demonstrates a person has acquired specific skills or knowledge in a particular area. Unlike traditional degrees or diplomas, which cover broad subjects over several years, micro-credentials are short, targeted, and often skill-based, making them practical for professional development or career advancement.

Study Visit in Lanciano, Italy 16-17th October 2024

In mid-October 2024, our Italian partner CPA hosted in Lanciano the first study visit of the AVED project. The two-day meeting brought together partners to review and analyse the materials developed so far, exchange feedback, and test project outputs with local entrepreneurs and SMEs. The visit also included interactive discussions and practical sessions aimed at refining the AVED digital platform, ensuring that it meets the real needs of small and medium-sized enterprises. Partners had the opportunity to engage directly with local stakeholders, gaining valuable insights to guide the next project phases and strengthen the link between innovation, digitalisation, entrepreneurship.
